One of the highlights of summer at Port Sorell is our annual series of Markets which bring locals and visitors alike down to the beach for an amazing range of entertainment, food vendors and craft stalls.
This year, we’re even more excited than usual to bring these markets to life because, this year, we’ll be able to show off our newly extended clubhouse to the community whose continued support made the whole thing possible.
Since Christmas and New Year fall on Fridays this year, we’ve had to make some adjustments to the normal dates. This year our markets will be on:
Sunday 27th December
from 3pm
Saturday 2nd January
from 5pm
Friday 15th January
from 5pm
Our annual markets are our biggest fundraising event of the year, providing a significant contribution to the cost of providing our volunteer surf lifesaving patrols, surf sport programmes and community events.
We wouldn’t be able to provide these activities without the support of our community, so thank you to all of you from everybody at Port Sorell SLSC!
