Skills Maintenance 2020/21 – update

We are starting to roll out our 2020/21 Skills Maintenance courses for our core patrolling awards.

Emails have been sent to award holders with instructions for the online theory components of the Skills Maintenance.  The dates for practical sessions will be finalised this weekend and advised asap.

Please note that Surf Life Saving Tasmania has not yet released its annual Skills Maintenance circular, so our plans may be subject to slight change.  We will advise any necessary changed once the SLST circular is released.

Please note that we are using SLSA’s online assessment tools this year, which will require all patrollers to access their Members’ Area accounts for online training and to enrol in practical assessments.  Please contact Neil on 0466 266 113 if you have any issues accessing your Members’ Area account.

Bronze Medallion / SRC Skills Maintenance

Emails have been sent to all current award holders with information about the online theory component of BM/SRC Skills Maintenance.  Details of the dates and arrangements for the practical assessment will follow after Sunday’s committee meeting.  There will be multiple opportunities to attend the practical assessments, which are likely to be in the last two weeks of November.  On-patrol assessments will be available for anybody not able to attend the Skills Maintenance sessions.

If anybody has issues accessing the online theory and assessment, please contact Neil on 0466 266 113.  We are happy to schedule a face-to-face theory refresher on request.
