Beach Patrols
Around Tasmania, Surf Life Saving Clubs provide volunteer beach patrols each weekend and on public holidays from December to March.
Our Volunteer Surf Life Savers
Patrolling is available for those who hold a surf rescue certificate or above. The youngest age to hold a surf rescue certificate is age 13. This is achievable for an individual by signing up to our club and completing a series of tests after learning the required knowledge. The required knowledge involves CPR and first aid. The patrolling seasons runs every year from November to March. Many more certificates can be achieved through our club to enhance your learning. Contact us and get involved today!
